Wyk

So back to my post last night about stopping at nothing if you really want to attain your goal. Now in order to get that goal of yours, you need to know the path you are going to take to get there or you will just end up going in circles eventually ending up in a dead end. I always assume that everyone knows how to eat but they don’t always have the commitment to follow through with it. I may have been wrong. I apologize. I’m including a sample day of what has worked for me when I first started my pursuit of not being fat anymore. Little back story I was working out every day prior to finding CrossFit and I would vary anywhere from 220-230 pounds. I thought this was my healthy weight and I did try every diet plan I found. I did some crazy stuff, just ask me sometime and I’ll tell you a few stories. Anyways, I went for my L1 and found out about the Zone. If you don’t know what the Zone is just take a look at this link.

The Sunday I came home from the cert I made my first batch of broccoli and dove right in to this Zone thing. I did it without any grains or anything on the Zone’s not so good list. Within a month I was down almost 20 pounds and blown away at how simple it was. I did however really have to dump all the information that was fed to me over the years about what is good for you and what is not. It was pretty much all bullshit and once I committed to eating clean the fat just fell off. No sitting on a treadmill for hours on end wanting a meteor to come crashing through the Y’s ceiling crushing me to death, all it took was eating food. Eating clean to me is no grains, sugar, processed foods and most importantly cutting out almost all alcohol. Mind blown. It really worked and it worked well. The thing about it that really got me was just how simple it was and how hard the powers that be try to make it to lose fat and keep it off. Take a look at this sample day and feel free to talk to me about it anytime you see me or any coach for that matter. We will help you plan your route to success and then all you’ll have to do is navigate the vehicle.
