Slippery Slope

So you hear all these quotes about how if you think positive good things will happen and if you don’t think positively you will flounder. I somewhat agree but it sure is hard to always think positive in your life. Personally, I’m guilty of thinking the world is coming to an end on a pretty regular basis. I found though, when I was at my lowest in my life drinking everyday, eating whatever it is that I wanted and just overall getting nowhere in life, that I don’t recall really thinking about much at all. It was a pretty carefree life for sometime and slowly but surely I fell into the abyss of mediocrity. The day that all turned around was the day I was going over some winter induced bumps in the road and I had a moment. You know what I mean by moment? The moment you realize you’ve messed up or the moment you realize it needs to be corrected or there is no coming back. Just ask if you’d like to hear about what my moments of change are and I’d be happy to share them with you. Anyways, without health in our lives we are just letting our days slip by and what’s worse if we don’t have a moment of clarity on our own we most certainly will in a doctors office. So instead of frowning on those not so positive moments embrace them and appreciate the fact that you are healthy enough to care and also healthy enough to fix the things that bring on those feelings. Everything can be turned around but you gotta fix your health first. Train your body and the brain will follow.

With partner complete 100 Burpee Muscle Ups for time.
note: scale this with burpee toe to bar pul-up. What is that you say well you do a burpee then 1 toe to bar and then 1 pull-up

*4.) Power Clean 65/3, 70/2, 75/2
*5.) Clean Pull 80/3, 85/2, 90/2
*6.) Squat 75/3, 85/3, 95/2×2, 100/2×2
note: SQUAT PERCENTAGES ARE BASED OFF OF YOUR 1RM C&J. Don’t go heavier I promise you’ll be getting plenty of opportunities to squat massive lbs often over the next 3 months.
