I was joking a couple days ago with Ashley about the reverse hyper. A new piece of equipment that neither of us ever had our hands on before and I said we’ll find out if this thing works in the next 3 months or end up in wheel chairs. I laughed and she said that is true. Then I thought about it for a second the same thought crossed my mind about what we do every day in this gym and replied to her that it’s no different than any other day. She laughed and went on her way. 6 years ago I was told CrossFit was going to maim or kill me and everyone I wanted to share it with and to this day I have yet to incur either. A number of times though I may have wished death upon myself or a certain coach or two:) Anyways, I understand we are all dying as it is part of this little thing we call life but I tell you what: I plan on having fun while I’m doing it. I see and hear of people getting injured and sick every day yet I also hear about how bad this CrossFit is for us by those same people. Oddly all I ever hear by the dedicated members of CFGB are about a few bumps and bruises. So even though I was joking with Ashley about the reverse crippling us all I do want you to all know and understand that everything I do in this gym I believe in to my core. I have had my share of failed experiments but those are few and far between because CrossFit works. Making your body strive to be good at everything is good for you, your parents and your kids. Keep up the hard work, keep eating like you know you should and most importantly enjoy the ride.

1.) 14 minutes to establish 20RM Back Squat
2.) 126
for time:
7 minutes to complete:
3 rounds
21 Power Clean & Jerks 95/65lb
21 GHD Sit-ups
all remaining reps after 7 minutes to be completed in form of calories on the rower. example if you finish 2 rounds just before the 7 min cap you will owe 42 cals on the rower.
*3.) For time:
8 rounds
20m Sled Push on mat no weight
10 Burpees
*4) 8 minute cap
50 Strict Pull-ups
10 Bar Muscle Ups
