Melted Cheese

Granite Games Recap #4 – Ripened With Age comprised of Andy, Jim  and Paul.  The team worked together to finish in 57 out of 60 teams in the Men’s Scaled division. 

Their highlight WOD was Deadman Walking; in which they didn’t expect to get far on the handstand walks.  Paul & Jim took the deadlifts to allow Andy to be fresher in attempting the hand stand walks.  Great game plan which lead to Andy getting over 100 ft of handstand walking. 

Another good takeaway the team shared was: “Competing in a box during a WOD is one thing, but getting out ther in front of strangers during a competition is a whole different story.  It takes a lot of guts stepping out there and risking failure in front of people.  It’s an accomplishment enough to show up and give all you’ve got.”
