Rotor Blade

**bring your sweatshirt for free WOD**
Another great day at CFGB begins this morning with the Community WOD and follows with the beginning of our newest programming, straight from Afghanistan. Coach T and myself will be running the show, T gave me my first taste of the CrossFit Games back in 2013 when she allowed me to tag along and give her a little bit of coaching throughout the weekend. It was a pretty amazing experience, and it’s been a goal every year since then to get someone within CFGB to the games.  (On a side note, for the athlete(s) that get to the games: the swag you receive is crazy!) Anyhow, its been a while since I’ve gotten to say this: at CFGB we believe you all have the ability to win the CrossFit Games and will program accordingly. We love competition and the brother/sister hood that is created by it. For those that don’t want to win the CrossFit Games, that’s cool too because it’s like 90% of us.  However, we still get the programming that’ll make us less fat, stronger, faster, and build that mental grit that gets us through our day to day: it’s just scaled down a little per our individual needs and wants. As Donny Shankle once told me, over breakfast, β€œYou must enjoy to eat to get strong.” If I may add my touch, you must enjoy the challenge of training outside your comfort zone because in real life there’s no such thing as a safe space. Let us train.
Happy Saturday

**One more thing I will post Friday’s Hero WOD every Saturday so you can see what you are training up for each week. Also, if you wish to get the extra credit done please come in for the 9:15 class to accomplish and use the barbell area to snatch from the blocks. I’m planning on trying to keep the gym open a little longer in the future after the 10:15 class but that’s still up in the air.

How many rounds is number 3?
