Woehlke

Hero Forged Friday is back and this week we will be honoring Firefighter Brian Woehlke who died on this day in 2013. To all of you out there that know the job, whatever it may be is dangerous but do it anyways because, well, because someones gotta do it so it might as well be me, I tip my hat to you.

Can do this one outside today so if anyone wants in I’ll be starting at approx 2 bells. The pull-ups will have to be inside but I can open all the doors if you want to use them. Afterwards, I will be having a socially spaced beer from anyone who also wants one.

Brian Woehlke, 29, of Detroit, Michigan, died at the scene of a fire in Westland, Michigan, on May 8, 2013. Woehlke graduated from the Schoolcraft Fire Program in 2008 and joined the Western Wayne Fire Authority in 2012.
