Wango-Tango

Great first WOD of the 2016 CrossFit Games Open. Every one of you took it head on and fought until the last seconds. Few first successful Chest to Bar Pull-ups today from some of our female athletes and everyone of you I saw do the workout tipped over like a tree when the time ran out. Well done CFGB. Sunday starting at 12 we will have our Open Workout Throwdown. We will be able to handle about 18 athletes per heat so we’ll probably run until 2-3pm. Please show up early and get it done. 
Few more names on the CP Telethon sign up and need more. If you would like to participate please get your names posted and start raising that $200. 
I want to send a note to our good friend Mark Davis who had his final day with us yesterday. I am at a loss for words for what he meant to me and this gym. A great friend and mentor to me these last 4 years. I’ve been dreading this day since he told me of his retirement plans over a year ago. So I want to thank you Mark for sticking with me, even when I pissed you off (and it may have happened a few times:) I wish you and Candi the best as you move on to the next chapter in your lives, I’m really going to miss you. Love you pal.

note: Once the 8 minutes begins you are allowed 3 lifts and 3 lifts only. Spend your warm up time wisely.
