Murph

Today is Memorial Day.
A day to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for you to live the life you currently have. A time to appreciate that someone was willing to do a job that you could not or would not do. A reality that you could never imagine.
Do not take it lightly.

Since the small timeframe of 2001-present, there have been 6,996 documented U.S. military deaths from the War in Afghanistan and the Iraq War alone.

If we wanted to honor just these individuals, we would have to do 19 Hero WODs every day for the whole year.
Think about this while you’re doing the workout today.

Michael Patrick Murphy (May 7, 1976 – June 28, 2005) was a United States Navy SEAL officer who was awarded the U.S. military’s highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions during the War in Afghanistan. He was the first member of the United States Navy to receive the award since the Vietnam War.[1] His other posthumous awards include the Silver Star Medal (which was later upgraded to the Medal of Honor) and the Purple Heart.

Gym opens just before 8am with start times anywhere between 8-11am. This takes anywhere from 35min to 2 hours, so plan accordingly to make sure you’re done by Noon when the gym closes!

*Rx is to be done straight through in this order while wearing a 20lb weight vest
*Can be scaled to partitioning as desired, going vestless, or splitting with a partner
