The End of Nerderland

– Living the last year with anywhere from 3 in a room all the way to hundreds of soldiers within one room often sleeping feet apart I have really learned the art of compromise as well as how important it is to keep the peace. So many farts, obnoxious phone conversations and never ending movies being played while you’re trying to sleep, roommates are the worst but learn to deal or go karazy.  As I’ve slowly acclimated back in to the gym a few changes have occurred since leaving last November such as pulling rowers and bikes everywhere, chalk buckets now have covers but the dang blocks are still out of the buckets just now on the covers…argh! Talked with Justin about it and he goes Grant, there are only so many battles worth fighting. Good point JT. So yeah I will play along with Justin’s decisions made while I was away but we need to have a talk about the chalk. Leaving the chalk on the covers fine, it really is easier but leaving chunks all over the floor is not. This morning I walked up on a bucket after the team WOD and was like, “What the hell?”   A few said, “But man were they flying” without naming names.  I smiled after grumbling about it. Anyways, if you’re in the black and accidentally get chunks of chalk everywhere, oh well but when you get your shit together clean it up.
– Today is the last day of JT’s cycle of fun, our new stuff will be starting this coming Saturday, HERO Programming. For the rest of the week we will be doing some old stuff with a emphasis on weightlifting technique and a few personal favorite WODs. Once again JT, well done and if I wore a hat I would definitely tip it to you.
– Class schedule New Years Eve 7am, 8am, 9am & 10am, open gym 6am-7am.
– Lastly, Sam’s Beer Mile this coming Tuesday, New Years Eve. Come and celebrate the life of Sammy by running what has become known as the greatest athletic challenge known to mankind. High noon, be there.
Have a great Monday gang!

If that chalk stays where it belongs (in bucket, on bucket or on your hands) then I will definitely work at getting you all the workouts maybe a day or two in advance. For the time being though, I promise to post it when my blog is done and it will always be up before or at 8pm every night.
