Day 3 of the testing kicks off with finding our 1RM Backsquat
I asked Justin to summarize our 3 on 1 off schedule
CrossFit Green Bay’s Juggernaut Programmin
Our goal here at CrossFit Green Bay is to make the most unstoppable, constantly moving machines there are. We are testing a new way of programming to create an athlete that can move large amounts of weight in short amounts of time
Our 6 week cycle follows the 3 days on, 1 day off schedule that many competitive athletes utilize and has been proven beneficial to the recovery of our bodies. CrossFit Green Bay is making headway as a premier Box that can turn any human into a machine with determination and practice. Like any machine, routine maintenance is necessary to keep our bodies moving the way they should. We encourage our members to utilize the gym during off days to work on mobility and recovery
This 3 on, 1 off schedule is to be strictly followed for individuals that wish to participate in CrossFit competitions. If there is a personal scheduling conflict, a member can come in on the regular scheduled Open Gym times and make up a day they may have missed during the programming. For those that are just here because they want to kick life’s ass or just can’t do the 3 on 1 off we will still have a regular WOD and there’s a good chance that you’ll see a Hero, Girl or classic CrossFit WODs on those 4th days
After the programming cycle is completed, we will see if this idea pays off and find out that our athletes’ maxes and their total horsepower output increase significantly; creating the ideal powerhouse-the Juggernaut
