Wild Alpaca

Wisconsin deer hunt is coming up in a few short days and I am excited. Excited really doesn’t do justice to how I feel about my yearly venture into the woods to freeze slowly in pursuit of a white tailed buck. I may see a lot of deer or see none at all but one thing is guarantee is I am going to freeze. Now I don’t like freezing just so it’s known but I sure do enjoy the fact that I get to go and sit with nature from sun up to sun down. It’s my time to watch the world and when there’s nothing to watch sit back and think. Think about my priorities and how to balance them all. We get a ton of shit backed up in this head of ours yet we seldom get time alone to ponder and figure out how to resolve it all. Which leads to a back up causing in my case causing me personally to go into the dumps. This is why I love bow hunting and gun deer hunting time. Hours of time to take care of yourself with the assistance of good old mother nature. All that and the possibility of being given a chance to harvest a giant buck. Win win in my opinion. Now I know many of you don’t hunt but don’t let that stop you from spending time in the woods just make sure you’re wearing blaze orange if you venture out in the next week or so;) Take time for yourself, it’s a game changer.
