WOD 130422

On Ramp starts in two weeks. Please contact us to get yourself signed up. I asked one of our January On Ramp graduates to write me a small description of her CFGB journey since day 1. I wanted it for a brochure but I’d like to share with any of you that really want to make a change
102 days! As of today (April 19, 2013), it has been 102 days since I have began the CrossFit ride. A ride that has been full of ups and some downs. A ride that I would have never dreamt of a year ago. My 1st day of on-ramp was filled with emotion as I struggled to through the WOD knowing that it was going to take all of me, every single UGLY pound of me, to get through the agony and pain. I made it, I survived!! And as of today, I have lost 58 UGLY pounds. Since completing 102 days of CrossFit, I am the fittest that I have been since giving birth to my son 7 years ago. I remember Grant telling me the first day of CrossFit, it took years for you to get this way, so it is going to take time to get back to who you were. By making better/smarter/healthier food choices and attending CrossFit 4 days a week, I am getting back to where I was. I have tremendous support at CrossFit. The coaches continue to push me and challenge me everyday. I also give credit to the support of my great husband, Mark, who attends the free Saturday WOD’s with me and to my friends Brooke Robinson and Kate Busch (both CrossFit members)who have stood by this ride with me. Thank you Grant and everyone at CrossFit Green Bay for making the impossible, possible!
