WOD 131020

Since it’s Sunday let’s have a little God talk. Now to premise I’m not the most holy person in the world but I would say I’m legitimately trying as I do think the message is very valuable to the human race. So, if I understand this correctly in order to receive God’s Grace we need to put him in front of everything, EVERYTHING and when you do this you will see the true benefits of God. What if you did this with your nutrition? Put your nutrition first no matter how addictive that Oreo is or how good that beer makes you feel at that moment. Seeing what your body is capable of is not something that can be accomplished in 30 days, actually I’m unsure exactly how long is really takes. I do know this for these past 10 months I have put my body first and I am seeing the Grace of my body. It is amazing and when asked what I’m going to eat as of January 1, 2014 and my answer is usually a steak, broccoli and a sweet potato with a giant glass of water when they are expecting me to say pizza and beer. Now that I’ve seen what this body is capable of it is no longer about wanting to eat poorly but my head actually craves this food; meat, vegetables, fruit, nuts and seeds. So seeing what has happened with my commitment to my body it has made me look at religion in the same light and I’m extremely curious what exactly comes with the Grace of God. So any given Sunday morning you will see me in the grocery store with a cart that will make angels sing and then sitting in a pew that evening trying to hear angels myself
