WOD 131031

So I was reading the news today and there was a report of a woman that intended to hand out letters instead of candy to children she deemed obese. The letter basically stated hey kid you’re fat and your parents suck at raising you because you’re fat! Someone is getting a few illegitimate chickens thrown her way today, hell I’d even throw a few myself if she were in my neighborhood. Turn your porch lights off and just don’t participate in the Halloween festivities because ma’am sorry to say this but you’re a dick. (Please mind my language but she is!!). If you want to change something don’t just write a letter but actually do something
Three years ago when I started CFGB I decided I would like to change something and I did by handing out Bananas, Cuties & Pears. Everyone I told that I was doing this were convinced my house would be riddled with eggs but lo and behold every piece of fruit was gone and as I walked down the streat from Trick or Treating with my own children I got to see kids of all ages peeling those cuties and eating them. This will be my third year handing out fruit and I’m willing to bet you a dozen eggs that every piece of fruit is gone within the first hour and once again scary creatures will be seen roaming Beth Drive eating fruit!
So to the letter lady, how about handing out fruit and not making kids feel bad with words but giving them an alternative to candy with fruit. I promise your house will stay egg free
Moral of the story if you don’t like something don’t hide behind a keyboard and insult it get off your butt and change it
