Electrode

Yesterday I know of a few people that saw what it is like to really compete.  I watched 4 weightlifters and got constant updates and videos from Betsy while she watched the Festivus Games.  I saw Bud, AJ and Jake podium in their first competition as Green Bay Barbell.  Charlie making his cleans as clean as they could be.  Like angel.  We will get you deep in that snatch, Charlie(I’m not even going to say it). Bud for keeping his confidence and ego in perfect check and hitting all 3 Snatches even though I told him otherwise at one point.  You’ll have to ask him about it.  AJ not being scared of a thing today and maybe her saying the F word as she PR’d her final Clean & Jerk.  Jake, now I mentioned angel for Charlie well Jake lifted like Charlie’s angel’s daddy.  It was like a symphony of movement. Travis tied for first place and lost to a tie breaker, first place in my eyes!  I can say this about him I’m happy you walked through our doors.  You are a great addition to CFGB and you will dominate, everyone except me of course:)  Then Krystal hitting her 30 front squats in 2 minutes at 95 pounds.  Yes, Krystal Lowney the same one that a few years ago thought she was only going to be a Community WOD member.  But with a little budging from her husband and a maybe a little bit more every time I saw her from me! Finally Lisa and Z, mother/daughter lifting synchronized duo.  The wife, mother, daughter and sister of two very good and they’d say lucky men.  My coaches Justin and Ty you both surpassed your job titles today.  I watched Ty and heard a few comments about Justin from Betsy and athletes, you two were exceptional.  Coaches that give hoot about you are pretty alright. All the rest of us that showed up to support the athletes and helped judge thank you.  It is great to be able to sit in the seats and hang out with you and I know Betsy enjoyed it too.  Betsy, thank you for being my right half today, I don’t appreciate all you do most of the time and days like this show me what a dummy I am. I will continue to un-dummy myself. Today we will watch Kim lead Green Bay Barbell to a Team Title.  Not sure if that’s possible exactly but if there was anyone that I know can throw some kilos around when needed it’s Miss Nault.   Great job today CrossFit Green Bay and Green Bay Barbell.

a. 10 Back Extension
b. 10 Hip Extension
c. 10 GHD Sit-up
Cycle through a, b and c for time.  Though it is for time, it is also time for the best quality consecutive movement.  No slop, rest 1:1.
