So here's the scoop, you all have 4 more days to get your games shirts. Get on it!
Next up, the Fundraiser. Tom and Christian have put together two days of festivities for the purpose of raising money for the team to get to Carson City, California for the 2014 CrossFit Games. There are going to be a few different things going on that you all will be able to participate in:
4 Man/Woman WOD Challenge: Bring your team of 4 athletes Starting Friday, July 11th and finishing Sunday, July 13th to compete for the coveted Fittest Trophy! Teams will have the option of doing one or two WODs Friday night or Sunday and if your team is in the top 6 you will all go head to head in a 3rd WOD that will crown the champion. Friday Night Dinner with Team CrossFit Green Bay. Garrett, Shane, Justin, Andy, Anna, Tina, Ashley, Crystal and Grant will sit down with 9 people and enjoy a dinner of steak, broccoli, sweet potato and avocado. Each member of the team and the coach will create their own personal desert to share with their table. Cost will be $35 per plate and table spots are limited to 9 per athlete/coach. After the dinner each member will spend a few minutes each discussing the games training or anything else they want to share with you all!
Sunday Festivities: Our 6 vs Your 6. You think you have what it takes to beat CFGB? Wrangle up your best 3 males and 3 females and come take CFGB on in 3 WODs. Cost is $200 per team. If you beat Our 6 there will be a nice payout as well as when you are all watching the Games live you will be able to tell your friends We whooped them! 15 spots available. Each team will participate in 3 WODs. Contact me at grant@gbcrossfit.com to get registered.
Also, as part of the Sunday event there will be games for the kids including a bounce house, food and drink sales, a silent auction, raffles and other fun things to do and see.
Come out, do some fun workouts, win a prize and help support the Wisconsin CrossFit Community.
