Monday continues are Testing. We will be testing our 1 RM Clean & Jerk followed Tuesday by 1 RM HBBS then Wednesday you will be able to make up whichever ones you may have missed
Question of the day: Why do gyms sell weight loss supplements
If a gym sells me supplements to lose weight firstly I’d like to know what exactly constitutes weight. Next, if I’m buying pills or shakes to lose said weight why in the buckets am I still at the gym paying you when this pill is doing it for me and I gotta change my diet too? What the crap?!? If I’m paying money for this miracle pill my ass better be able to sit on a couch all day and eat Snickers mini’s by the hand full.
Don’t buy that crap folks….any of it, no matter if they tell you the scientific tests verify significant weight loss or how when they started taking this pill it changed their life and now they want to share this pill with you!

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.
