Eevee

So the 2015 CrossFit Games season has come to an end for CFGB.  Ashley, Anna, Tina, Shane, Tyler and Zach fought through the Open to earn their place on the team and over the last 2 months they trained their hearts out.  They went from 6 individuals to 1 team.  I could not be prouder of them for what they have accomplished and how they handled victories and defeats. We did not come out of this weekend on the podium with a trip to Carson but we came out better than we went in. To see all of you that drove 4 plus hours to watch them compete, the fans from other gyms throughout the state cheering them on and the messages sent by countless others was beyond amazing. This gym is truly a living breathing thing and for that I am proud to be the man that gets to lead us into tomorrow and the days after that. The future is very bright for this gym and community as long as we remember that we are all a team. We train, laugh, cry, grow as one team and as long as the good lord allows me I will continue to make sure that never stops. I know CrossFit is so much more than the CrossFit Games but I tell you what those games have given us all something to thrive for. Whether it be making it on to the team, making a run as an individual or getting that first handstand push-up during the open the games have helped us become better. We are a competition gym, hell we thrive on it and we are not embarrassed to admit it. Make fitness about making yourself better not about some dumb number on a scale. When we stop concentrating on losing weight and start concentrating on getting better a couple things will happen. Your diet will change because as we all know your performance in the gym is directly correlated to what you eat and drink, your confidence grows as your ability grows and then before you know it fat has been shed and strength has been built. All these great attributes spill over into your personal life as well creating a person that you didn’t even know existed. If you have not yet been to CFGB it’s about time you have, come and compete with us!
Congratulations Team CrossFit Green Bay you’ve done us all proud, now back to work!
1.) 15 rep Clean & Jerk
There is no time limit, but the weight cannot be rested on the ground. Resting at the hang,
rack, or overhead is O.K. At the ground, the athlete must touch and go.
The score is exactly the load lifted.
Once 15 rep is attained repeat at 12 reps and then 9
2.) 50 GHD Sit-ups
