WOD 160614

This Saturday, Green Bay Barbell will be hosting a fun, all-inclusive weightlifting meet for all members of CrossFit Green Bay. This will help introduce our members to the sport of weightlifting and experience what it’s like to participate in a weightlifting meet. 
For those that don’t know, weightlifting meets test an athlete’s Snatch, and Clean & Jerk. You will get 3 attempts at each lift to lift as much as possible, with snatching being first. 
This Saturday’s meet will start immediately following the regularly scheduled classes, at 11:30am. 
Entry fee is $25 dollars and all proceeds will go to helping fund our two young women that qualified for Youth Nationals, Islie & Josie. They will compete the following weekend. 
All you need to do to sign up is know what you’d like to attempt for your first Snatch and your first Clean & Jerk (in pounds). 
There will be a sign up sheet hung on the corkboard in the mudroom tomorrow. 
We highly encourage all of our members to participate in this fun, entry level event!
If you have any questions, ask Justin or GBB coach Ty K. 
Even if you can't (or don't want to lift) please come to cheer on some PRs and maybe dance a little to the smooth beats of DJ Sal. There will also be some food available during the event.
