Next Saturday, June 18th, CrossFit Green Bay will host the first ever CFGB Open, presented by Green Bay Barbell. 
This will be a non-sanctioned weightlifting meet for anyone who wants to participate in a simulated weightlifting meet. It is meant to be a very fun, low intensity event for people of all skill levels. 
Entry fee will be $25 and all proceeds will got to helping fund Green Bay Barbell’s trip down to Youth Nationals the following weekend.

The CFGB Open will target to start at 11:30am on Saturday 6/18! Everyone will get 3 attempts to Snatch (then a 10-min break) followed by 3 attempts to C&J! Members of GBB will act as "coaches" to assist with warm up and flow of the day. The order of lifting will go from lightest to heaviest based on first attempt, so start thinking what your opening weight will be (something you can hit 8/10 times any given day). Our goal with this event is to give the members of the CFGB community a chance to experience the sport of Weightlifting without the pressure and extra rigmarole. We are stoked and hope you are too!!
