Next, a big thanks to Chachi from Pop Evil for stopping in and hanging out with us on Wednesday. It was great catching up and checking out your show!
Now, a message from coach Jake P. that I strongly agree with:
Lately I've been hearing people talk about two topics I'd like to discuss. #1 is burnout and #2 is not coming consistently. #1 is a real problem and #2 is bullshit.
Let's talk about burn out. Burn out usually happens when people either have a nagging injury, train too many days in a row (like no rest days….ever), or loose sight of their goals. If any of these occur and a coach has not approached you about it, please come talk to us. If we don't know, we can't fix it. Even if it doesn't always show, we care about each and every one of you; that's why we do this. Let's tighten up our movement, make a schedule, and set some goals.
Now for #2… Get your butts in here. Don't waste time loosing all the progress you have made and stop talking yourself out of coming in to the gym. Remember, it's all about doing a little more today than you did yesterday.
